Stephen Grand

Stephen Grand is the co-founder of Grand/Sakwa Properties, one of the largest developers of residential and retail properties in the Midwest. Mr. Grand has participated in the development of millions of square feet of residential and commercial properties.
Before he embarked on his real estate development career, Mr. Grand was president and owner of Deco-Grand, a large manufacturer of precision components and assemblies for diesel engines and automotive industries which he owned and operated for 20 years. Mr. Grand is active in numerous philanthropic activities throughout the United States. |

Gary Sakwa
Co-Founder

Gary Sakwa is the co-founder and managing partner of Grand/Sakwa. Mr. Sakwa has over 25 years of experience in the residential and commercial real estate industry. Over the duration of his career, Mr. Sakwa has developed over 10,000 residential lots and through joint ventures has constructed over 3,000 homes with some of Metropolitan Detroit’s most prestigious Builders. In addition to Mr. Sakwa's vast residential and mixed-use experience, he has developed and/or acquired in excess of five million square feet of commercial property. Mr. Sakwa is very involved in numerous philanthropic activities on a local and national level and is a principal in numerous real estate and land development activities throughout the United States. |

William Eisenberg
Development and Leasing

William Eisenberg, CPM has over 30 years of experience in all aspects of commercial and residential real estate. Since joining Grand/Sakwa in December 2000, Mr. Eisenberg has participated in the development of over five million square feet of retail, residential and mixed-use developments. Prior to joining Grand/Sakwa, Mr. Eisenberg was the Vice-Chairman of The Farbman Group. Mr. Eisenberg is an IREM Certified Property Manager, a Licensed Builder and a Licensed Associate Real Estate Broker in the State of Michigan. His professional affiliations include the National and Michigan Associations of Builders, The Southeastern Michigan Builders Association, International Council of Shopping Centers, Detroit Area Commercial Board of Realtors (DACBOR), International Association of Corporate Real Estate Executives (NACORE) and Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA). |

Gary Cooper
Construction and Development

Gary Cooper directs all construction activities for Grand/Sakwa. He is involved in the development of all retail and residential projects, including planning and design, governmental approval, authorizations, permits, and construction implementation. Mr. Cooper has more than 25 years of experience in the real estate industry.
Prior to joining Grand/Sakwa, Mr. Cooper served in upper management positions at a prominent Detroit-area real estate development firm. He is a licensed professional builder and a member of the Building Industry Association of Southeastern Michigan, ICSC, and the Urban Land Institute. Mr. Cooper earned his bachelor’s degree in construction management from Michigan State University. |

Andrew Boyce, CPA
Management and Accounting

Andy Boyce is a Certified Public Accountant and a graduate of Michigan State University from where he received a BA in Accounting in 1997. Andy joined Grand/Sakwa in June 2005 and maintains responsibility for all aspects of corporate and development accounting as well as provides financial oversight for the portfolio of properties managed by Grand/Sakwa. Prior to joining Grand/Sakwa, Andy spent 8 years at Plante & Moran, PLLC as a Tax Manager where he specialized in flow-thru taxation of Real Estate entities. Andy is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. |

Douglas Stroud, CPA
Management and Accounting

Douglas Stroud is a Certified Public Accountant and a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, where he received his Masters in Business Administration. He received his BA from Denison University in Granville, Ohio. Mr. Stroud joined Grand/Sakwa in February 2001 and maintains responsibility for monthly financial reporting of the Grand/Sakwa portfolio as well as budgeting, cash management, lease administration, and technology systems. Prior to joining Grand/Sakwa, Mr. Stroud spent 17 years as the Chief Financial Officer for The Farbman Group. Mr. Stroud is a member of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants. |

Jason Miller
Financing and Investment
Jason Miller joined Grand/Sakwa in October 2011. His duties include evaluating and underwriting real estate acquisition and development opportunities and debt and equity sourcing and placement for new acquisitions and the refinance of existing portfolio assets. Prior to joining Grand/Sakwa, Mr. Miller served as Vice-President of Pomeroy Investment Corporation, a private real estate investment firm. Jason began his career in 2001 at Duff & Phelps LLC, an Investment Banking firm in Chicago. Jason is President of the Board of Directors of the Furniture Bank of Southeastern Michigan, a Regional Board Member of the Anti-Defamation League, and a member of the Young Leadership Group of the Urban Land Institute. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan, from which he received a BBA in 2001 and an MBA in 2006. |

Ted Simon
Retail Leasing
Ted J. Simon has been affiliated with Grand/Sakwa since 1999 and has participated in the leasing of many of the Company’s large retail developments. Mr. Simon has extensive executive-level experience in the real estate and has been involved in business activities related to residential and commercial real estate for the past 58 years. Mr. Simon previously served as a senior real estate officer of various public supermarket companies with stores located across the United States, and their affiliated development subsidiaries. From 1981 until January 1999, Mr. Simon was the Vice President-Real Estate (Midwest Group) of The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company, Inc. Mr. Simon has also been a member of the Board of Directors of Sun Communities (NYSE: SUI) since 1993.

Nick Donofrio
Residential and Acquisitions
Nick Donofrio maintains responsibility for residential development and land acquisitions at Grand/Sakwa Properties. Grand/Sakwa has developed over 12,000 residential lots and through joint ventures has constructed over 3,000 homes with builders. |

Matthew Orsargos
Property and Facilities Management
Matthew Orsagos oversees property and facilities management for Grand/Sakwa’s portfolio of managed properties. Mr. Orsagos oversees a team of property managers and maintenance staff that manages over six million square feet of commercial and mixed use properties in Michigan, Texas, Kentucky, and Mississippi. Prior to joining Grand/Sakwa, Mr. Orsagos was a property manager for The Farbman Group. |
